本品屬大環內酯類抗生素，為紅霉素的硬脂酸鹽。
主要用于(yu)對(dui)青霉素耐藥的葡萄(tao)球(qiu)菌(jun)感(gan)染，也可用 于(yu)鏈球(qiu)菌(jun)、肺炎(yan)球(qiu)菌(jun)的感(gan)染。

Erythromycin Stearate belongs to macrolide antibiotics, and it is the stearic acid salt of erythromycin. It is mainly used in the treatment of the infections of staphylococcus resistant to penicillin and also used in the patients with the infections of streptococcus and pneumococcus.
